CAPTAIN: PASCAL GOGER, 51 yrs old (French)

Pascal’s family have been sailors for centuries – records show that one was a privateer! Pascal has sailed around the world over many years and his knowledge of the best spots to cruise or to dive is inexhaustible. Pascal has been a captain for over 16 years on many kinds of vessels such as cruise ships, high speed craft and other passenger’s ships. He has served as skipper on DOUCE FRANCE for many years and has great charter experience. Pascal particularly enjoys sharing DOUCE FRANCE’s stunning sailing performance with his guests. In his free time he enjoys diving, spear fishing and helping to raise his son. He loves his job and he loves DOUCE FRANCE.

CHEF: SHAILEN SEWLALL, 35 yrs old (Mauritian)

Chef Shailen Sewlall hails from the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, and it was there that he completed his professional training at the Hotel School of Mauritius. Shailen’s career has taken him to several top hotels throughout the region including the Lemuria Resort, Seychelles Islands. He worked as Sous Chef there under Robert Lalleman, a third generation French chef. Lalleman was acclaimed as one of the top seven chefs of Provence for his inspired cuisine at L’Auberge de Noves in Avignon. In 2004, Shailen decided to leave terra firma behind and joined the cruise ship “Pearl of Seychelles” as Head Chef. After a very successful year there, he came to join DOUCE FRANCE. As one would expect of a chef who comes from an island paradise, Shailen specializes in fresh seafood - usually caught from the yacht that day! He also lists fusion, a tantalizing blend of French and Creole cooking from his native Mauritius as a specialty. Shailen's cuisine receives rave reviews from all guests on board DOUCE FRANCE! 


FIRST MATE & DIVE INSTRUCTOR: AMBROISE SEIFFERT 30 years old (French)

He is very dedicated and always happy to serve the guests. He is in charge of the navigation and a hard worker with passion. He is also a very experienced diver and will teach with great pleasure. He will be your submarine guide.

Loveleen comes from the humble island Kudarat , Philipines but her dream was to be part of the big world and travel different places. She was trained in Singapore as Tourism, Hotel and restaurant Instructor. Hard work passion and skilled introduced her to the luxurious yacht industry and so she came to know Douce France.

STEWARDESS: MARIANNE VALENZUELA 30 years old (Filipino)

Marianne graduated as bachelor in science in hotel and restaurant management in a university located at the central of the Philippines. Marianne has been working on board for a year and a half on luxurious yachts, based in Jeddah, and Phulet Thailand. She loves to work in a multi-cultural atmosphere which made her an efficient team player, with passion and dedication , she performs her duties & responsibilities with a smile. She also enjoys playing musical instruments & engaged herself in some sport during her free time. Marianne also loves to learn different languages, so far she speaks intermediate Thai & Chinese Mandarin.
